Keep a copy first
Deleting cannot be undone. If you would like a copy of your data, download it before you delete:
- Sign in and open Settings.
- Choose Account.
- Select Download my data. You get one file with your profile, settings, feeds, entries, briefs, calendars, assistant chats and activity, and connected apps.
Delete your account
- Sign in and open Settings.
- Choose Account.
- Select Delete my account, type DELETE to confirm, then select Delete account.
You are signed out straight away and your account is gone.
What happens when you delete
At once:
- Your profile, settings, feeds, entries, notes, briefs, calendars, assistant chats, activity log and connected apps are deleted from our database.
- The sign-in tokens for Google and your connected apps are deleted.
- We ask Google to end the access you gave BriefMia.
- Your sign-in is removed, so the account cannot be used again.
Afterwards:
- Copies in our database provider’s routine backups disappear as those backups are replaced, usually within a few weeks. They are not used to restore your account.
- Usage and cost records for AI features are kept without any link to you. They hold no content from your messages or data.
- Events and emails that BriefMia created in your Google account stay there, because they belong to your Google account. Delete them in Google if you no longer want them.
Remove Google access
Deleting your account asks Google to end BriefMia’s access. To check, or to remove access without deleting your account:
- Go to myaccount.google.com/connections (opens in a new tab).
- Select BriefMia in the list.
- Choose Delete all connections you have with BriefMia (Google may word this slightly differently) and confirm.
You can also disconnect Gmail, Drive or another app in Settings › Connections. Our Google data page lists every permission we ask for.
If you cannot sign in
If you no longer have access to your account, write to seyedhamidjavaheri@gmail.com from the email address you used with BriefMia. We will confirm it is you, delete your account and data, and reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Something here unclear, or think we got it wrong? Write to seyedhamidjavaheri@gmail.com and a person will reply.
